*Seasonal* Traffic Clerk

Schedule

Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with overtime on weekends as needed.

Pay

$18.00 – $19.50 per hour (overall pay range $17.13 – $26.59).

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver assignments, including checking drivers in, assigning doors, and checking them out once the load is complete.
• Serve as the first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Receive, count, and log cash received by carriers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no‑shows, and unscheduled arrivals.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments as necessary.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.

Requirements

• Basic math skills (may be required at some facilities).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with internal and external customers; English may be required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as –20 °F (–25 °C) in cold storage or up to 100 °F (37 °C) in dry storage while wearing company‑provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lb (9 kg); weight requirements may vary by facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times.
