Seasonal Stock & Fulfillment - Dulles Town Crossing Rack

About the role

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for. We have multiple roles available in Sales, Cashier, Stock and/or Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by role, but may include:

• Creating a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
• Motivating and inspiring others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards program
• Keeping the stockrooms organized and completing all inventory processes, making sure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
• Working with the team to ensure the sale’s floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
• Assisting customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
• Demonstrating expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
• Defusing customer situations and providing resolutions in a timely and effective manner
• Receiving, unloading freight, unpacking and delivering newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
• Preparing and shipping customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
• Utilizing inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes
• Assisting in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Providing general support to the store, e.g. setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures

Requirements

You own this if you have:

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
• Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (STOCK SUPPORT OR FULFILLMENT ROLE)
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Pay

The pay range for this role is $18.65 - $19.40 Hourly.
