Seasonal Retail Stock & Fulfillment - Springfield Town Center Rack

About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be continuously moving and collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You’ll ensure a quick and easy customer experience and keep the store clean and clutter free. Flexibility is key, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain the cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms and help customers find great deals.

Responsibilities

Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments. Responsibilities vary by department, but may include:

• Ensuring the sales floor stays organized and stocked
• Assisting customers with transactions and providing a seamless experience
• Maintaining a clean and clutter-free customer experience
• Receiving, unloading, and processing freight
• Fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner
• Utilizing inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise
• Providing general support to the store, such as setting up special events and organizing the backroom

Requirements

• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Physical Requirements

This role requires continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. You should be able to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, and regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. In Stock and Fulfillment roles, you may need to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Pay

The pay range for this role varies based on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commission rates for selling employees range from 3% to 14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories, and 3% for Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales.
