About the role

The Seasonal Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers through face-to-face interaction. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide rental back-up, serve customers, and deliver administrative support at our Palm Springs Airport location.

Location: 3400 E Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs, CA 92262.

Seasonal employees may work up to 180 days, starting as early as October 22nd, 2026 through April 20th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls—reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers and other business partners.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phone.
• Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Provide directions and general assistance.
• Assess condition of rental upon return.
• Process returns, check-ins, and exit kiosk transactions.
• Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services.
• May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options, and other additional equipment.
• Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance.
• Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, and process customer billing.
• Perform miscellaneous and backup duties as assigned.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without work authorization sponsorship by our company, now or in the future.
• Must have open availability. Apart from religious observances, must be available to work 40 hours/week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting rate of pay: $22.00 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.
