About the Role
The Service Shop Technician crafts exceptional experiences for evo’s customers by maintaining, repairing, and building products. This role is seasonal, running from mid-October through mid-February, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Assess and provide accurate repair quotes upon customer arrival.
- Ensure all service shop tasks (tunes, mounts, waxes, assemblies, etc.) are completed properly and on-time, maintaining consistent and high-quality work standards.
- Offer credible, unbiased advice during service check-ins and assist customers in selecting appropriate products.
- Attend scheduled clinics and training sessions to continuously improve personal gear knowledge.
- Order necessary parts to ensure seamless completion of repair jobs.
- Assist customers on the sales floor, providing expert insights and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No degree required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Adaptability, attention to detail, communication, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, and time management.
- Embodies, honors, and lives evo’s core values: The Great 8.
Preferred qualifications include Barnett or UBI Certification.

Pay
$19.00 - $24.85 per hour. The base wage depends on skills and experience, with consideration for internal pay equity. While the full range is listed, hiring typically occurs below the top of the range to allow for professional and financial growth.
Schedule
This role requires weekend and holiday availability, including Black Friday and the weeks around Christmas. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
