Seasonal Service Shop Technician

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide accurate repair quotes upon customer arrival
• Ensure all service shop tasks are completed properly and on-time, maintaining consistent and high-quality work standards
• Offer credible, unbiased advice during service check-ins and assist customers in selecting appropriate products
• Attend scheduled clinics and training sessions to continuously improve personal gear knowledge
• Order necessary parts to ensure seamless completion of repair jobs
• Assist customers on the sales floor, providing expert insights and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• No degree required
• Minimum 3-5 years service experience required
• Adaptability, attention to detail, communication, customer service, inventory management, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, time management

Nice to have: Ski Mounting experience, Ski/Snowboard Tuning experience

Pay

The base wage for this role ranges from $23.04 to $27.58, depending on skills and experience, with room for professional and financial growth in role.

Schedule

This is a seasonal position with weekend and holiday scheduling requirements, including Black Friday and the weeks leading up to and following Christmas. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, from mid-October to mid-February, with the possibility to extend.
