Seasonal Retail Support Associate

About the Role

At Duluth Trading Company, you’ll be the backbone of the store’s operation, ensuring we deliver on our promise of exceptional customer service. As a Stockroom Associate, you’ll manage freight, fulfill customer orders, and maintain an organized stockroom to support the sales team and create “WOW” moments for customers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently unload, sort, and process freight shipments, managing merchandise flow from truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pickup and direct shipping from the store.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized stockroom, including replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with sales associates to ensure product availability and communicate stock levels and new arrivals.
• Adhere to company policies for safety, merchandising, and cleanliness, upholding operational standards daily.
• Perform other duties as directed by management to support overall store success.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Customer-centric mindset with a sense of ownership and pride in your work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Demands

• Stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
• Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting (below waist and above shoulders).
• Repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reaching with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Push/pull up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees, particularly in stockroom areas.
• Use of a computer or handheld device up to 60% of the time.

Pay

Compensation: $15.00–$15.50/hour, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
