About the role
As a Receiving Colleague (Back of House), you will play an essential role in supporting store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. Your responsibilities include receiving and organizing merchandise, picking and packing orders, retrieving items from back-of-house storage, delivering orders curbside, and monitoring alerts to ensure timely completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders. You’ll also engage with customers—greeting shoppers, resolving issues, and delivering orders with care—while keeping the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and tag merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and retrieve orders from back-of-house storage for curbside delivery.
- Monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of BOPS orders.
- Greet customers warmly, resolve issues, and deliver orders curbside with care.
- Maintain a shoppable sales floor by recovering merchandise, restocking, updating signs/pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Organize the stockroom and complete orders to set up the team for the next day’s success.
- Collaborate with teammates to support daily operations and achieve sales goals.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to:
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

Qualifications
Essential Physical Requirements
- Constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
- Lifting at least 30 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Reaching, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers, handheld equipment, and cash registers.
Schedule
- Full-time colleagues: typically 30+ hours per week.
- Part-time colleagues: typically 12–24 hours per week.
- All schedules include weekend shifts.
- Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
