About the role

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
• Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Provide general support to the store, e.g. set up special events, organize backroom, markdowns, and relocate store fixtures

• Skills to use a variety of technology and new computer applications
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Pay

Hourly range: $18.85 – $19.65. Commission for selling employees varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes, and accessories typically 3%–14.5%; Beauty and Men’s Fragrance roles typically 3%. Pay offers depend on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
