Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care in a modern endoscopy setting, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and quality.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and healthcare teams to develop and revise individualized care plans.
• Perform physical, social, and psychological assessments, and coordinate care delivery.
• Delegate and direct care activities, ensuring adherence to guidelines and professional standards.
• Participate in ongoing learning, professional growth, and uphold legal and ethical standards.
• Respond promptly to emergent cases during nights, weekends, and holidays within a 30-minute response time.
• Provide patient-centered care, document accurately, manage time and resources efficiently, and contribute to a collaborative team environment in a specialty endoscopy unit.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state; BSN required by specified date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate monitors, assess patient needs, and manipulate delicate equipment accurately.
