About the role

As a Public Space Attendant at The Lodge at St. Edward, you’ll bring beautiful spaces to life with careful attention to detail. You’ll clean back-of-house and public areas while maintaining communication with all team members. Respond to calls for spills, cleaning, or trash removal to support Housekeeping in keeping the hotel sparkling.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public areas and back-of-house spaces, including offices, hallways, and restrooms
• Demonstrate proper bending and lifting techniques to ensure health and safety
• Respond to calls for spill cleanup, trash removal, and general cleaning
• Follow all safety procedures and keep the work environment clean and organized
• Pay special attention to detail to exceed guest expectations
• Maintain ongoing communication with all team members
• Respond to internal and external inquiries and complaints, fostering positive relations
• Protect company assets by adhering to security standards
• Deliver exceptional products and service while demonstrating Columbia Hospitality’s values
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical applications is a plus
• Desire to work in a fast-paced role
