Seasonal Processing Team Member
About the role
Twin City Foods, Inc. is a leading Frozen Vegetable Producer dedicated to delivering high-quality, nutritious, and sustainably sourced frozen vegetables. We are expanding our team with Seasonal Processing Team Members who will ensure product quality through various tasks including inspection, tote building, and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Able to work in wet conditions with company issued PPE.
- Able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
- Able to shovel vegetable waste, tote building, sort, and work with raw, finished, and packaged product.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and work at heights from a ladder.
- Able to wash down and scrub processing equipment using cleaning chemicals and high-pressure hoses.
- Able to work 12-hour days and up to 7 days per week.
Requirements
- On the job training provided.
- Able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Enough visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) to see any product residue.
- Essential physical abilities: walk and stand continuously, climb stairs and ladders frequently, scrub machinery with scrub pad or brush.
- Use water houses, coil and uncoil, extend to work area, lift up to 55lbs.
Qualifications
Selected employees will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify.
