Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Processing Team Member, your main purpose would be to ensure that the product being processed is of the highest quality possible. Essential duties include:

• Able to work in wet conditions with company issued PPE
• Able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
• Able to shovel vegetable waste, tote building, palletizing case goods up to 55lbs, sorting and working with raw, finished and packaged product
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs and work at heights from a ladder
• Able to wash down and scrub processing equipment using cleaning chemicals and high-pressure hoses
• Able to work 12-hour days and able to work 5 to 6 days per week

Requirements

On the job training provided. Available for both shifts. (Days and Nights)

Knowledge, skill and experience required include:

• Knowledge of cleaning requirements and packaging standards
• Use of sanitation chemicals
• Use of PPE, LOTO, Fall Prevention, other safety programs
• Able to sort and pack vegetable food products and be able to complete simple documentation on the job

Qualifications

Selected employee will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify.

Skills

Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers and enough visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) to see any product residue.

Essential physical abilities include:

• Walk and stand continuously
• Climb stairs and ladders frequently
• Scrub machinery with scrub pad or brush
• Use water houses, coil and uncoil, extend to work area, lift up to 55lbs
