Seasonal Pool Server

About the role

Looking for an exciting opportunity to work in luxury hospitality this summer, gaining hands-on Food and Beverage experience in a vibrant poolside environment? Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Seasonal Pool Server to join our dynamic pool team, where thoughtful service, attention to detail, and genuine guest care define the experience.

Responsibilities

• Describe and present food and beverage menu items to guests with engaging detail, including origin, taste, and preparation methods, while accurately taking and communicating orders through the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
• Cook and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests or concerns.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and handle voided or complimentary checks in accordance with established procedures.
• Avoid spills and accidents by properly carrying and balancing a tray with multiple items.
• Assist with the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of tables, buffets, and food stations to maintain a polished and inviting poolside environment.

Requirements

• 2+ year(s) previous serving experience in a luxury Food and Beverage outlet.
• A positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude with strong attention to detail and service excellence.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• The ability to multi-task while under pressure.
• The ability to carry and balance a tray with multiple items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $16.90401K

Schedule & Hours

• This is a seasonal role with a defined end date, but there may be opportunities for long-term employment based on business needs and performance.
• Open availability is preferred & weekend availability is required.
• Must be available to work holidays.
• Part time position, 3-4 days a week.
