Evaluations
- Evaluates, administers and directs administration of therapies utilized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring practitioner to restore function and to prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part.
- Helps patients reach maximum performance levels and plans therapy involving therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training including bed mobility, transfer, and gait training.
- Utilizes various mechanical and electrical equipment, manual therapy, and prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Licenses/Registrations: License Issued by Florida or Compact State, Physical Therapist.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Skills
- Manual therapy.
