About the role

This position will assist with all maintenance phases and operations at Lake Carl Blackwell grounds.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of power equipment, including lawn mower, weed eater, small tractor, chainsaw, or hand equipment.
• Assist with carpentry, cleaning of toilets, minor construction, painting, plumbing tasks, and any task necessary to maintain the safety and appearance of the grounds at Lake Carl Blackwell.
• Work outdoors and tolerate extreme temperatures and weather.
• Frequent, strenuous physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• One year of grounds/farm work experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

• Ability to follow directions and use appropriate safety measures for tools and equipment used to perform tasks.
• Use ground maintenance tools effectively and work efficiently independently or as a team.

Pay

$11.50 - $11.50 hourly

Your supervisor will assist you in establishing a schedule that accommodates both your availability and departmental needs.
