Seasonal Package Delivery Driver

About the role

Casual Package Delivery Drivers drive UPS brown trucks, delivering packages to homes and businesses in their community and beyond. They are a physically active crew who enjoy fast-paced outdoor work and time behind the wheel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages of all shapes and sizes to residential and commercial addresses
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license (type varies by state; no CDL required)
• Pass the DOT physical
• Excellent customer service and driving skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Schedule

• Full-time casual package delivery drivers work eight to ten hours per day
• Workdays can vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday) depending on business needs

Benefits

Seasonal role with excellent weekly pay and growth opportunities. Extensive training provided. Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, paid time off for holidays, sick leave and option days, and contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $23.00/hour.
