About the role
Casual Package Delivery Drivers drive UPS brown trucks, delivering packages to customers’ homes and businesses. They are an active, customer-focused crew who enjoy outdoor, fast-paced work behind the wheel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages of all shapes and sizes to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate company-provided vehicles while maintaining excellent driving and customer-service standards
- Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required; license type varies by state)
- Pass the DOT physical
- Excellent customer service and driving skills
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
Schedule
- Full-time casual drivers work eight to ten hours per day
- Workdays can vary (Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday) depending on business needs
Pay
The base pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.

This is a seasonal role; seasonal experience may lead to permanent opportunities with additional advantages and benefits. Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, sick leave, option days, and contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.
