Seasonal Package Delivery Driver

About the role

Casual Package Delivery Drivers drive UPS brown trucks, delivering packages to customers’ homes and businesses. They are an active, customer-focused team who enjoy fast-paced outdoor work and time behind the wheel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages of all shapes and sizes to residential and commercial addresses
• Operate a UPS delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required; license type varies by state)
• Pass the DOT physical
• Excellent customer service and driving skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Schedule

• Full-time casual drivers work eight to ten hours per day
• Workdays can vary: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on business needs

Pay

Base pay for this position is $23.00 per hour.

Permanent full-time driver total compensation

Permanent, full-time delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including:

• $0 healthcare premiums
• Up to seven weeks of paid vacation
• Paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days
• Company contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan
