- Responsibilities
- Providing guests with helpful directions that will enhance their entertainment experience
- Providing the optimum in cordial hospitality to all guests
- Watching for and addressing breaches of security, crowd management issues, persons in unauthorized areas and safety hazards
- Screening for guests entering the grounds for prohibited items while using bag checks and metal detectors
- Escorting and security for entertainers, their facilities and cordoned areas
- Responding to incidents of medical emergencies, fire, bomb threats, active shooters, severe weather and disorderly conduct
- Required Training
- Treasure Island guest service training
- Any position-related training as determined by department manager
- Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit, walk or stand and may have to exert fast-paced mobility
- Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend, kneel and stoop
- Must be able to reach and twist routinely
- Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
- Infrequently be able to climb
- Must be able to independently lift up to 25+ pounds routinely
- Must have good eye hand coordination
- Working Environment
- Work is performed outdoors and may include flashing lights, frequent loud noises, cigarette smoke and extreme weather conditions
- Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
