Role Overview
The role brings creativity, experience, and passion for learning to meet the needs of the business through a blended learning platform. The focus will be on Operations training programs while partnering with the Learning and Development team to leverage corporate programs.
The Training Coordinator will facilitate for a team of individuals that will coordinate and deliver function-specific training programs while working to continuously improve the training materials. The Training Coordinator will also be a key player in training and onboarding of seasonal employees.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Communicate effectively to all levels of employees from executive to new employees
- Conduct task analysis in order to create and/or validate Standard Operating Procedures for training purposes
- Conduct, support, and facilitate New Hire Orientations (NHOs)
- Conduct and/or coordinate personal/professional improvement training courses using a participant centered approach
- Create and maintain a system to record training completion, cross-training effectiveness and employee knowledge and skills
- Attend and add value to Fulfillment or Manufacturing Center Management Team meetings
- Observe and evaluate training programs / individual trainers and team leaders to make recommendations to improve training efficiency and effectiveness
- Work across various shifts and times during peak season hours
- Able to work with and train a diverse workforce
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership
What You Bring to the Team
- Bi-lingual in Spanish/English is preferred (Kentucky/Las Vegas – Locations)
- Highly proficient in computer usage, e-mail, Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of Fulfillment/Manufacturing processes and flow
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Situational leadership experience and knowledge
- Presentation skills and comfortable speaking in a classroom/tour environment
- 6-12 months of facilitating adult learning theories and effective training principles (preferred)
- 6-12 months of previous experience of training or technical writing experience (preferred)
