Seasonal Nurse - Med Surge

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, compassion, integrity, and respect to deliver high-quality care, preserve patient autonomy and dignity, and promote health. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritizes care effectively. Assists with procedures, administers medications as prescribed, and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and families. Promotes patient safety, cost-effective practices, and lifelong professional development. Supports team communication and ensures comprehensive care delivery. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant unit or specialty area.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Preferred: ACLS/PALS specialty certifications.
