Seasonal Locksmith Technician

About the role

We’re Beam Living, a multi-family residential property management company that elevates, oversees, and supports communities throughout New York City. As a Seasonal Locksmith on the StuyTown Locksmith team, you will be responsible for trouble shooting and making improvements to the place our residents call home.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Locksmith work regarding repining cylinders and cutting keys.
• Installation of apartment entry door cylinders, locks and hardware.
• Repair apartment and common area doors. Diagnosis and repair (replacement as needed) the hardware related to doors, locks and keyed access locations.
• Repair and replacement of all windows and glass.
• Additional duties may be assigned by your Supervisor.

Requirements

• Able to multi-task under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Weekends or overtime required on occasion.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of trade experience in similar work required.
• Trade school graduation or equivalent education is a plus.
• Some computer skills necessary to manage work order system.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.).

Schedule
