Seasonal Location Customer Service

About the role

We’re looking for a seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our frontline from September through November at our Lawn Hill location. This role supports the 2026 harvest season by providing customer service and accurate accounting functions for IAS and its member owners.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned workplace on time; notify supervisor of late arrivals or absences prior to start time.
• Conduct counter sales and process incoming calls in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Weigh grain and farm supply products; grade incoming grain.
• Assist in processing daily location grain tickets when needed.
• Provide marketing assistance to grain customers.
• Communicate grain transactions and transportation needs.
• Perform inventory control, physical counts, and accurate billing.
• Accept and carry out other tasks assigned by the Location Manager.

• Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment toward completing assignments efficiently.
• Ability to organize, adapt to change, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong people skills, good phone etiquette, follows directions, and meets deadlines.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Requires static strength to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
• Trunk strength to use abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly or continuously over time.
• Some tasks involve repetitive motion.
• Agricultural environment with possible exposure to seasonal weather, outdoor conditions, and agricultural products.
• Personal Protective Equipment may be required for some tasks.
