Seasonal Lift Truck Operator

Position Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload material, product, bins and pallets.
• Move needed items from storage areas and machines into storage facilities.
• Act proactively to ensure smooth and effective operations and report issues to management immediately.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• 6-12 months forklift experience
• Follow all safety and GMP protocols
• Comply with all PPE and safety requirements
• Occasionally lift up to 55 pounds
• Able to obtain forklift certification
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, is required
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends during harvest season is required
• Willingness to cross train to cover other positions
• Self-motivated with attention to detail
