What You'll Do As a Leasing Consultant, you'll play a key role in achieving occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective and current residents. Responsibilities Include: Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cardsEnsure model apartments are in touring condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordinglyAnswer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout dayReceive and distribute all incoming mailOccasionally assist with planning, and hosting after hours resident eventsAssist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet barMaintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into YardiConvert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents in order to tour the communityEnsure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residentsInspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and ensure apartments are in move-in condition by coordinating move-in/out needs and schedules with maintenance teamCreate and maintain confidential resident files, which includes reviewing move-in paperwork with new residentsEnsure all open and close procedures are completed dailyAssist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant’s tenancy by ensuring occupant’s requests are responded to promptly and accuratelyResponsible for shopping competitive properties, and pursuing marketing opportunities with downtown businessAssist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely mannerOccasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident eventsParticipate in company provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention. Comply with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
