About the role

Samaritans Purse is seeking a Seasonal HR Associate to build a ministry-aligned team that will serve in the Operation Christmas Child processing center and share the love of Jesus with children around the world. The ideal candidate will recruit, interview, and hire individuals for specific processing center roles, provide administrative support, and ensure an excellent employee experience.

Responsibilities

• HR Seasonal Recruiter
• Build a ministry-aligned team to serve in the OCC processing center
• Recruit, interview, and hire individuals for specific processing center roles
• Create gospel partnerships with churches and like-minded organizations to create a pipeline of ready-to-hire candidates
• Screen candidates to ensure they meet the required qualifications
• Support the onboarding process for seasonal associates
• HR Seasonal Support Coordinator
• Guide seasonal associates through the onboarding process
• Avoid errors in the completion of I-9 forms for all new hires
• Review, validate, and submit seasonal associate time records
• Complete quality control checklists for seasonal candidates
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of OCC seasonal staff as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Eager to learn and have a heart to serve in a ministry
• Skills testing, social media review, pastoral and professional references, and a criminal background check are required upon acceptance of the offer

Pay

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week including some Saturdays) seasonal commitment that runs from mid-August through February. The pay rate is $20.00+ per hour.
