(Seasonal) Guest Relations

About the Role

Join ELS, an organization known for its culture of recognition and reputation for excellence, as a Seasonal Ranger in Oregon House, California. This role involves ensuring the safety and satisfaction of guests while maintaining the security and integrity of the campground.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the campground on foot or by vehicle to answer guest questions, enforce rules, and ensure safety.
• Monitor the property for issues or potential problems and ensure it is properly secured.
• Ensure guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Validate incoming guests through the campground gate and confirm access eligibility.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Handle camping reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and sell day passes and store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
• Provide on-call emergency service as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to use computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills to assess and resolve situations diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or an RV environment is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Pay

$16.90 per hour for full-time seasonal employment.
