About the role

Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement focuses on welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales ensures products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. Roles include Seasonal Guest Advocate, Seasonal General Merchandise Expert, Seasonal Fulfillment Expert, Seasonal Style Consultant, Seasonal Inbound Expert, Seasonal Food & Beverage Expert, and Seasonal Tech Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with a helpful attitude
  • Stock, set, and sell Target products on the sales floor
  • Handle cash register operations accurately
  • Climb ladders and scan, handle, and move merchandise safely (including lifting up to 40 lb)
  • Provide guest service that makes guests say “I LOVE TARGET!”
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to support business priorities
  • Learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Follow multi‑step processes with attention to detail
  • Maintain regular attendance

Requirements

  • Enjoy working in a fun and energetic environment
  • Excited about providing service that makes guests say “I LOVE TARGET!”
  • Interested in stocking, setting and selling Target products
  • Prefer not to be in a Monday‑through‑Friday desk job
  • Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Skills

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Capable of working both independently and with a team
  • Skill to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $19.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) with regular attendance required.
