About the role

Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals (sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, delivering service that inspires “I LOVE TARGET!”
• Stock, set, and sell Target products, including scanning, handling, and moving merchandise safely (up to 40 lb).
• Operate cash registers accurately.
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks throughout the store, especially on weekends.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Follow multi‑step processes with attention to detail.
• Adapt to current technology needs and work both independently and as part of a team.
