About the role

Target’s seasonal specialty sales roles focus on delivering tailored suggestions, active selling, and compelling visual merchandising to inspire guests and increase basket size. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates welcome guests, exceed service expectations, and handle recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and properly signed on the sales floor. The positions provide training on guest service fundamentals, retail business basics, inventory management, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Stock, set, and sell Target products, including handling merchandise up to 40 pounds.
  • Accurately operate cash registers and handle cash transactions.
  • Climb ladders and move merchandise safely and efficiently.
  • Provide welcoming, helpful service to guests and team members.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Follow multi‑step processes with attention to detail.
  • Adapt to current technology needs and learn new tools.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Maintain regular attendance and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $15.50 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular attendance is required.
