Position Summary

The Greeter performs various Customer Service activities, including greeting customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information and direction, distributing promotional materials, and supporting front-end tasks. Greeters are expected to be friendly and outgoing, providing an exceptional customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Actively promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Models brand standards by adhering to the dress code, maintaining a professional image, and displaying welcoming body language.
• Checks in customers’ merchandise for returns.
• Checks in Vendor representatives, completes visitor logs, and controls visitor badges.
• Informs customers about special events, sales, or promotions and provides promotional materials.
• Ensures the entryway and work area remain clean, tidy, and safe.
• Assists with customer check-in of firearms/weapons by notifying designated Outfitters (Greeters do not handle firearms).

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Skills

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly walks and stands.
• Occasionally performs computer work and lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Seldom to never sits.
• Constantly communicates with others and repeats motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Occasionally works in low or high temperatures, outdoor elements, and noisy environments.
• Light work, constantly moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds; occasionally lifts objects up to 100 pounds or more (team lift as needed).

Pay

Starting Pay Rate: $17.13 - $18.75
