Seasonal Gondola Attendant - Sterling

About the role

The Seasonal Gondola Attendant supports the 7-day operation of the aerial gondola by warmly welcoming guests while maintaining their safe transportation to and from the winery through close partnership with the maintenance team.

• Responsible for the safety of employees and visitors as they load and unload the gondola.
• Provides great customer service, as the gondola offers the first interaction with 100,000+ visitors annually.
• Serves as a liaison between the maintenance team and the Hospitality department.
• Cultivates ideas, implements process changes, improves efficiency, enhances safety, and reduces costs.
• Participates in Gondola Evacuation drills and training according to ANSI Aerial Gondola standards.
• Adheres to TWE Zero Harm and Health & Safety standards and completes all necessary training.
• Maintains cleanliness of all gondola cars.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws regarding alcoholic beverage service.
• Completes Van Training, Evacuation Training, and Operator Certification upon hire.
• Works with the onsite maintenance team to ensure guest-facing areas are well-presented.

Requirements

• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A clean professional appearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• A valid California Driver’s License and proof of good driving record.
• Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to complete Van Training, Evacuation Training, and Operator Certification upon hire.
• Able to work outdoors in any weather condition.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
