Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, Maui
About the Role
As a Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague, also known as a Back of House colleague, you will play an essential role in supporting store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. From receiving and organizing merchandise to picking, packing, retrieving orders from our back-of-house storage, and delivering them curbside to the customer, you’ll help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. You will monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders and play a key part in customer interactions—greeting shoppers warmly, resolving issues, and delivering orders curbside with care.
Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact both customer satisfaction and overall store performance. This role goes far beyond just being a behind-the-scenes support colleague. Here, the customer is at the heart of everything we do—every day, all day.
Responsibilities
- Receive, organize, and tag merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and retrieve orders from back-of-house storage for curbside delivery.
- Monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders.
- Greet customers warmly and resolve issues during interactions on the floor or at curbside.
- Maintain a shoppable sales floor by recovering merchandise, updating signs and pricing, restocking, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Recover fitting rooms and ensure the store is organized for customer convenience.
- Share Loyalty program benefits with customers and ensure they have everything they need before ending interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Organize the stockroom, complete orders, and prepare the store for the next day’s success.
- Collaborate with teammates to support daily sales goals and operational efficiency.
- Perform register transactions and use handheld equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours.
- Lifting at least 25 lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Reaching, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Schedule
Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10-20 hours per week. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.
