About the role

Guardian Pharmacy of Utah, part of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a Vaccinator to administer vaccinations to patients and residents in Long‑Term Care communities. The role offers flexible scheduling, is seasonal through December, and pays $40.00‑$42.00 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling; seasonal position through December.

Responsibilities

• Screen vaccine recipients pre‑vaccine for potential concerns per facility guidelines.
• Educate recipients and administer vaccines as indicated.
• Document vaccine administration using the appropriate medical record system.
• Monitor pre‑ and post‑vaccination for side effects and refer for additional assessment/care as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with all disciplines and levels of care regarding patient care.
• Ensure compliance with Isolation Precautions and Infection Control Guidelines.
• Support vaccine administration sites by responding to issues, questions, and providing training for new products or changes.
• Perform face‑to‑face visits, email, and phone communications as required.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN, as applicable).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Appropriate clinical licensure/certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1+ year of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience).
• Ability to work through December (position is seasonal).
