Seasonal DOT Operations Support - Halsey, OR

Summary

Simplot Grower Solutions is seeking a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. This full-time, temporary role offers full benefits and opportunities for substantial overtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate fertilizer trucks, fill application equipment, and support plant operations. - Assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities. - Maintain and clean trucks. - Perform various tasks including equipment and plant maintenance, welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping. - Load and deliver fertilizer and chemicals to customers. - Assist with special projects, attend training sessions, provide backup when needed, etc.

Requirements

- Hold and maintain a Class A CDL and a clean driving record. - Preferred endorsements: HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples. - Able to lift 50 lbs. - Ag-Industry Hours: Willingness to work overtime and weekends. - Able to perform all essential functions of the job. - Accurately count materials, reconcile quantities, and complete basic math calculations.

Qualifications

Typical Education: High school diploma or GED. Relevant Experience: Truck driving experience preferred, knowledge of local rural geography and farm operations is a plus.
