Seasonal Customer Service Desk Associate - PT

Retail Customer Service Desk Associates are needed to join Boscov’s fast‑paced sales team. In this role you will develop relationships with customers, provide accurate information, and ensure each customer’s needs are met quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products through successful sales.
• Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and deliver the best experience.
• Provide customer service by completing requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Make storewide announcements over the public address system.
• Handle layaway storage, maintain records, receive payments, and release merchandise.

Requirements

• Prior retail and/or customer service experience.
• Ability and desire to work well with the public, management, and coworkers.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register and Telxon system.
• Availability to work varied days and hours as schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

• Starting rate: $16.65 per hour.
