Seasonal Critical Care Tech

About the Role

As a Critical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support. Every day, you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Place orders, receive and stock department supplies
• Assist support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Colorado Emergency Medical Technician-Basic or A-EMT or EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license
• IV certification required upon hire

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Qualifications

• One (1) year healthcare experience (pre-hospital, ED and/or patient care) preferred
• Relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Benefits

• $400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full-time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, or Lake Counties

Pay

$18.50 - $31.15 /hour
