Seasonal Critical Care Tech

About the Role

As a Critical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support. Every day, you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.

Responsibilities

• Place orders and receive and stock department supplies
• Assist support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic clerical, computer data entry, and math skills
• Current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant
• Ideally, one (1) year of acute care experience
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Benefits

• $400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full-time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek, or Lake Counties

Pay

$18.50 - $31.15 per hour
