Seasonal Chaplain | Windsor Mill, MD

About the role

Samaritans Purse is seeking Chaplains to join our Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Team. This is a full-time (40+ hours per week including Saturdays) seasonal commitment running from mid-November through mid-December.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OCC Chaplain, delivering daily devotions for seasonal associates.
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff and volunteers.
• Lead public prayers for gospel opportunities during periodic processing breaks.
• Engage individuals in prayer walks, sharing the Gospel.
• Work alongside the PC management team to foster an atmosphere of joy and service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High level of spiritual maturity.
• Experience serving in pastoral ministry.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Strong Christian character.
• Aptitude to work well as part of a team.
• Comfortable using public address systems and speaking in front of large audiences.

Skills

• Desire to help others grow in their walk with the Lord.
• Aptitude to accurately articulate the gospel and teach the Bible.
