Seasonal Buildings and Grounds Worker

Qualifications

• A valid Illinois or Wisconsin driver's license
• Experience In Custodial Field (preferred)
• Must have HS diploma or equivalent (2026 HS graduates are welcome to apply)
• Able to paint and navigate up & down a ladder
• Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Travel between schools
• Work with minimal supervision
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time

Position Summary

The Summer Worker Staff will assist the Building and Grounds team with summer projects in preparation for the 2026-2027 school year which can include janitorial work, cleaning, moving furniture, washing windows, disposing of trash/debris and painting. Hours may vary but are typically 7:00am - 3:30pm.
