Seasonal Bin Technician

About the role

As a Seasonal Corn Help team member, you will support harvest operations by unloading corn from semi-trailers into grain bins, maintaining cleanliness throughout the bin area, and collecting corn samples for quality testing. The 2026 harvest season is tentatively scheduled to run from September 14 through November 15, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Direct drivers as they position their semi-trailers near the tractor and auger.
• Operate the swing auger and open trailer hatches to unload corn safely into designated grain bins.
• Operate tractor power take-off (PTO) equipment.
• Clean up corn spills and maintain an orderly bin area.
• Enter and clean grain bins while following all required safety procedures.
• Collect probe samples from grain bins for conditioning and quality testing.
• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Provide general support to Bin Technicians and assist with other harvest-related duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with AS400.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Ability to work safely around agricultural and grain-handling equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as delivery schedules require.

Pay

$18.25 per hour

Schedule

7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Day shift. Overtime may be required based on corn delivery schedules.
