Seasonal - Auto Detailer - Car Washer - Savannah Airport

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Seasonal Full-Time Automotive Detailer at our Savannah International Airport location (436 Airways Ave, Savannah, GA 31408). This is a seasonal position lasting up to 180 days, with a starting pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours per week, including weekends. Available shifts are:

• 6:00am - 3:00pm
• 10:00am - 6:00pm
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, safety, and readiness, including:
  • Checking fuel level and warning lights.
  • Inspecting windshields for damage.
  • Factory resetting/restoring vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
  • Checking for customer items and placing valuables in Lost & Found.
  • Verifying registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
  • Checking fluid levels and adding as needed.
  • Inspecting tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
  • Inspecting vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles for customer rentals.
• Report any safety concerns, warning lights, or vehicle damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, reporting any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including:
  • Cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, and floors.
  • Taking out trash and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and performing other miscellaneous cleaning tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must not have any drug or alcohol-related convictions on your MVR in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Seasonal employees may work up to 180 days during a defined season.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.
