About the role

This seasonal full-time position is located at the San Jose Airport rental car facility (1659 Airport Blvd Ste 8, San Jose, CA 95110). The seasonal window begins May 6th, cannot exceed 180 days, and ends on or before October 28th. A California driver license is required.

Pay

$21.47 per hour

• Thursday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
• Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior—including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensure cleaning supplies are available
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors
• Perform site appearance tasks: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous cleaning duties
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• California driver license required
