Seasonal Associate - Famous Footwear

Famous Footwear is your place for athletic, fashion and casual shoes for the whole family from hundreds of name brands. As a Seasonal Associate, you’ll create a welcoming in-store culture where customers feel loyal to the store, our brands, and our company. You’ll celebrate team successes, stay informed about trends, and share that knowledge to build engaging customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are completed, keeping the store clean, organized, and all styles easily shopable.
• Be a Famous Culture Influencer: champion our culture by delivering stellar customer engagement and top-notch experiences that leave customers wowed.
• Elevate to Your Goal-Crushing Era: take accountability for your effort and its impact on store performance, drive sales with purpose and urgency, and communicate clearly and timely with the team.

Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet business needs. Overtime hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Able to build constructive and effective relationships within the store
• Demonstrates positive communication with store associates at all levels
• Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
