About The Event Ales on Rails is Verde Canyon Railroad’s annual celebration of craft beer. Guests gather at the depot before their train departure to enjoy samples from a rotating selection of craft beers while taking in the beautiful fall scenery of the Verde Valley. About The Role As a Beer Pourer, you will be at the heart of the guest depot experience, welcoming visitors, pouring beer samples, and helping set the tone for a memorable day. You will have the chance to: Engage with guests in a fun, social environmentPour and present a variety of craft beersShare knowledge and enthusiasm about different beer stylesProvide friendly and responsible alcohol serviceBe part of a team that creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere Key Responsibilities We are looking for outgoing, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people and bring positive energy to the guest experience. Prior experience in breweries, taprooms, bars, restaurants, alcohol service, or hospitality is preferred. Beer knowledge is a plus, but a willingness to learn and engage with guests is just as important. Schedule Flexible availability throughout October 13-31 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM is a must! Requirements Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality environmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive, team-focused mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused settingKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to stand for extended periods and lift 25 poundsFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
