ALL ABOUT SEASONAL JOBS: Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles are a sales force of specialized consultants who provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts focus on operations, process and efficiency to ensure a consistent guest experience by making sure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. At Target we believe team members gain meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest‑first culture across the store, experience in retail business fundamentals such as department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement, and experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Stocking, setting and selling Target products.
• Providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
• Welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
• Ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
• Executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
• Accurately handling cash register operations.
• Climbing up and down ladders.
• Scanning, handling and moving merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.

Pay

The starting hourly rate is $21.25 USD per hour, with a pay
