Job Description

Machine operator in the operation of specialized Public Works equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma and three years of experience in public works construction and landscape maintenance activities including the operation of specialized power equipment
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Class D drivers license
• Class 2B Massachusetts Hoisting Engineers License

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment operation and preventative maintenance techniques
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written directives
• Ability to handle dangerous equipment with precision and care
• Responsibility for observing required safety precautions

Pay

$20.75 hourly
