Seamstress/Laundry Attendant
About the role
The Seamstress/Tailor ensures the look and fit of Employee Uniforms meet exacting standards. They repair textiles throughout the hotel as needed, keep appropriate inventory of Employee Uniform pieces to meet par levels, measure new employees for uniforms, tailor uniforms to employee's measurements, repair deficiencies in uniforms, inspect and repair bedspreads, drapes, linens, and other textiles used in the hotel, and assist guests with their sewing/tailoring needs.
Responsibilities
- Affirms the look and fit of Employee Uniforms meet exacting standards.
- Repairs textiles throughout the hotel as needed.
- Keeps appropriate inventory of Employee Uniform pieces to meet par levels.
- Makes sure new employees are measured for uniforms.
- Tailors uniforms to employee's measurements.
- Repairs deficiencies in uniforms.
- Inspects and repairs bedspreads, drapes, linens, and other textiles used in the hotel.
- Creates sewn pieces for use in operating departments.
- Assists guests with their sewing/tailoring needs.
Requirements
Work authorization in the United States required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in tailoring or seamstress preferred.
Skills
Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in tailoring and sewing.

$21.93 per hour
