Job Description As a Laundry Attendant, you will play an essential role in supporting resort operations by ensuring linens are cleaned, organized, and ready for guest use. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality help provide guests with the clean, comfortable accommodations they expect while supporting the success of our Housekeeping team. What You'll Do as a Laundry Attendant: • Sort, separate, and pre-treat soiled linens according to established procedures. • Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently. • Fold and organize linens, towels, blankets, duvets, mattress pads, and other resort linens according to department standards. • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and remove items from circulation when necessary. • Maintain organized linen storage areas and properly stock folded items. • Clean and maintain laundry equipment and work areas daily. • Meet established productivity and quality standards for linen processing. • Assist with other laundry and housekeeping support duties as assigned. Qualifications What You Will Bring as a Laundry Attendant: • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. • One (1) year of laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Good judgment and the ability to work effectively with guests and fellow team members. • Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Requirements: • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed. • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. • Westgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
